Closing the Curtain of 2008..
In reference to the Chinese calendar the new year will be the year of the Ox, which shows that this is the year Chinese symbol for the year I was born...
so this means that this would be my year - my very year!! I hope that amidst the gloomy forecast of global recession for this year and the next, this Year of the Ox would be somewhat Fruitful for me as well as my family...
But looking back to 2008, I can only ponder on one thing and sum up one word to describe it -
friends
This year taught me a lot about friendship. Friends of old and faces of new, it's great to learn from people from all walks of life. Attitudes, personal problems, great hangouts, winning moments... nothing can compare the emotions that one can feel whenever you are with your circle of buddies.
Friendship should not be taken for granted of, but people do come along with different faces and different masks, and each one has its own good side and dark side, but each one is always a treasure that you can always look upon to be taught the precious lessons in life..
Let go of this year and ponder, and look upon the New Year with a bright hope of smile in your face...
